Samaria Gorge is a natural wonder located in the southwestern part of Crete. It is a 16-kilometer long canyon that stretches from the Omalos plateau to the small coastal village of Agia Roumeli, on the Libyan Sea. The gorge is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers, offering breathtaking views of the rugged landscape, crystal-clear streams, and unique flora and fauna.
